God Damned I am jacked-up for this.

No idea about these opps, but this kind of tournament has to be generally good with 3 different teams to prep for, one road trip.

So I was wondering about Eckerd College and the facility being used to host this incredible event. Well here it is:

Oh crap. Is this going to be like a bowl game where the university has to pay to cover our unsold allotment of tickets?

I'd be surprised if we win any of those three.

Weber State was 17-6 & return 7 of 8 players the lone loss was the leading scorer but 3 other double figure scorers return. Massachusetts returns 7 of top 10 scorers two double figure scorers off an 8-7 team. FIU was 9-17 & 2-15 in their conference. They return 3 of their top 10 scorers one of whom averaged 10 ppg which was 3rd on the team & only one of top 5 back. FIU would be the only one of the three I think we will be favored over which is our opener.

Yes, Redbirdman, agree, which was exactly my point! The competition is good and I only wish we got a shot a UNC Greensboro who played in the NCAA's last year.

The best thing I can say about this year is at least there is some change. Maybe not at the top like many had hoped but with 7 new players 3 new coaches and virtually no returning impact players everything is up for grabs. I'm actually looking forward to it a strange way. I'm sure that will change by the end of the non con portion of the schedule but at least it's something new.

We agree on that. Everything a puzzle.
Usually we know something from talking to coaches, maybe have seen practices, at least seen players play in HS and can guess what strengths and weaknesses are.
This year?
No way we can have that much change and see a quick start.
