Brown definitely was the key to their win over FSU. We will see how many more he can lead them too. If Brown really IS the talent the blackford gang has rallied behind, then why did he not flourish in Whit’s system?🤔 Could he not get all his fires clicking at the same time?🤔 Could clicking fires have been the missing ingredient during the Whitford years all along and we just didn't see it?🤔 |

I don’t care what Brown does. He didn’t work out for us. Don’t know if Lewis drove him off or he couldn’t handle tough talk, but he ran back to stetson after running away from there. Whatever.

Yeah, but it's going to be pretty difficult to ignore if Brown keeps it up at anything like THAT pace (big if).
As I remember, the consensus here seemed to be that Lewis and Brown talked and Brown chose a different path other than what Lewis had in mind for him. So far so good. But, hypothetically, what if Brown now blossoms in the college game and BSU is a pretty good team but with poor to mediocre perimeter shooting?
(Those who are completely unfamiliar with internet sports forum, please note that speculation is a frequent feature of these. Speculation is different from an assertion of fact or certainty. )

Are you not a BSU B Ball fan we have had a lot to talk about I don’t have any doubt that Lewis is going to turn BSU’s program around nearly overnight. After returning home from the season opening victory over Earlham, I watched the FSU- Stetson replay on ESPN+ and Brown was spectacular in his debut. The FSU announcers couldn’t quit talking about him and gave BSU all kinds of notoriety.. With that said, after watching BSU play the Quakers last night, the future is very bright for our Cardinals! Just hope we can keep Lewis more than 2 years! |

Yes there is too much premature speculation on this board particularly if we have an off the chart athlete(Steele) or maybe a really successful coach like maybe Lewis that they are going to transfer or be hired away. Well maybe but the term premature again comes to mind. Enjoy the moment and do not let the fear of loss kill that joy. If Iowa once again rapes and pillages us then we can wail and gnash our teeth.

That's really deep. That's almost like, shower thoughts, how to live your life in light of your own mortality kind of thinking. I like it. live in the moment. Enjoy what you have. If, we can only hope, that Lewis is so successful and it gets lured away after only a couple seasons that I would imagine that we would all be very happy with the success that he has had here. Even if he experiences off the charts success in year one, some colleges may want to wait and see if he can recruit his own talent. We'll cross that bridge when we come to it. |

What it's worth, I watch the Stenson game also. Luke played very well. Better than we saw him play at any time at Ball State. I would also add that Stenson has at least three other players that I would love to have in a cardinal uniform. They are a team that is not without talent.
He started to play just a little recklessly in the second half, taking a couple of well-guarded and ill-conceived three-pointers that he missed. His coach pulled him out at one point and gave him a little talk. He did exhibit some ridiculous long range marksmanship. Good for him. Sorry it didn't work out at Ball State. I don't wish him ill will. I find it hard to believe he will be able to continue his Florida State game level of play.

Watching brown now. He does not start but is the 6th man. Stetsons offense is pass the ball around the perimeter dump it in and it comes back out till someone is open for a three. They shot 20 threes in the first half Brown hit three of them. He is still not good on D but is a good fit in this offense Nine pts 1 reb 1 assist first half
