Looks to me the Board doesn't value it's own judgement when it comes down to Presidents. Why do you say that? Mearns has done pretty much what the Board wanted him to do. No, the BOT doesn't want him acting like a woke moonbat, while making condescending snide remarks to elected State Representatives. Mearns is a sanctimonious aloof prick. |

I’ve never heard mearns be anything but gracious, fake or not. I’d like to know what specific snide remarks he’s made to state reps.

You said he was too "woke" for the BOT and that he offended legislators, and while something serious with legislators might bring blow back, I have not seen any evidence of disgruntled BOT members.
What you think of his politics is not really much of factor in evaluating his character by itself. I've never seen him offensive to anyone so your remarks surprise me. Just asked for specifics that lead you to your opinion the BOT is not happy with him.
