Ball State will meet in-state rival Purdue Fort Wayne Thursday night at 7:00 in Worthen Arena. Both teams enter the match 2-0 in the MIVA. Only other undefeated team in the conference is Loyola and the Cards meet the Ramblers Saturday at 3:00 in Worthen Arena. Both matches are huge as home court victories are must wins to have a chance of winning the MIVA and hosting post season tournament matches. Our Cardinals are ranked 7th in the AVCA poll and the fastest rising team in the country. Let’s rock Worthen Thursday and Saturday!

I dont know alot about v ball but would I be right in assuming our toughest matches left are ohio State and the 2nd match with Lewis? Also it seems like moving up in the rankings is tough. The top five or six teams have matches against each other but is it possible that even with losses to each other the remain ahead of us

But matches like tonight and Saturday are tough because of familiarity over the years. Both of these teams seems to be off to a solid conference start. I do think the advantage we may have though is a new coach and style of play. They haven't faced "this" team yet. Agree on moving up, difficult. |

Incredible match tonight at Worthen Arena that saw Ball State fight off Purdue Fort Wayne in a knock down drag out match that could of gone either way. The BSU crowd was so loud in the 4th and 5th game you could barely could talk to anyone! I wish someone could tell me how the women’s basketball Wednesday was played before a near empty Arena and the crowd was listed over 1000 where there were 3-5 times as many people at the match tonight and the crowd was listed less than the women’s basketball game! Somebody at Ball State can’t count. In the 5th game, it sounded like Worthen Arena had 5000 people in it! Great win Cardinals !
