The Big 10 should suspend Coach Howard ASAP and UM should at the least suspend the Coach the rest of the season at the least, if not, fire him. Howard's post-game take didn't help him either. Horrible display to say the least.

The whole thing is dumb, Howard was upset with Gard for taking a timeout when the game was already decided, but Howard was still running a press at the time, so what the fark is he complaining about ?
It reminded me of one of those "When Keeping it Real Goes Wrong" sketches on the Chappelle Show.

It's not Howard's first offense. He was ejected during the Big 10 Tournament last year for going after Maryland's coach.
He'll be suspended for a couple games I'm sure. If I were Michigan's AD, I'd be sitting him down and laying down the law. Anger management would be a good start.

Howard and his apologists are still trying to spin this as self defense and justified. Since no one is buying that line of bullshit, don't be surprised if they roll out that the Wisconsin assistant used a racial slur.

Given Howard's history more likely he was slinging the insults.

Since no one is buying that line of bullshit, don't be surprised if they roll out that the Wisconsin assistant used a racial slur. Within minutes yesterday they were putting out “he heard what he heard.” Meaning…… Whitlock skewered Howard and all the enablers and race carders.

If they try that, then if I were the Wiscy coach I'd file assault charges, along with a slander suit.
Even just the accusation of a racial slur stains a person's reputation these days.

Since no one is buying that line of bullshit, don't be surprised if they roll out that the Wisconsin assistant used a racial slur. It would be difficult to claim the altercation was racial in any way. So what will happen is the punishment (whatever it winds-up being) will be labeled extreme, over the top, bigoted and unnecessarily humiliating.

The Juwan Howard slap was pretty lame.
Now MOE....there's a Howard that can really slap:

I'm guessing they're holding Gard responsible for his assistant coach not turning the other cheek after taking a slap to the face?

Say something insensitive in private conversation 10 years before taking a job = career over.
Assault opposing coach on TV = 5 game suspension.
What a world.

I'm guessing they're holding Gard responsible for his assistant coach not turning the other cheek after taking a slap to the face? I bet it’s for Gard’s role instigating. Doesn’t diminish Howard’s culpability, but Gard did grab him and get in his face.

Harsh words exchanged bad enough...just get to the locker room and stay in control, even if steaming.
