Toledo is an improved team and has come off of splitting 4 with WMU, taking 2 of 3 from Miami and beating Ohio State in Columbus.

Looks like all four Toledo games are on ESPN3 (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). Plus three women's softball games with Kent State.

Best MAC opponent so far. Should be a reasonably good early test. I could live with 2 of 4, very happy and content with 3+ this weekend.

Explain why game 1 was 7 innings & game 2 9innings? I thought the double headers were supposed to be 7 innings. Do the coaches agree to the games length before the series is played?

Ugly fielding today resulting in 2 unearned runs, but I am content with winning 3 of 4 away against a mid tier MAC opponent. Ideally stack as many conference Ws as possible @western MI(1 game), vs Akron and @niu before the conference schedule gets tougher there on out starting April 30th with the 4 game CMU series. A 12-2 start is solid.
