Well, kinda $#!+ the bed in games over the past three days. Instead of being 1 game behind CMU, we're 3 games down.
BSU goes to NIU for this weekend. They NEED a four game sweep.
After the weekend, BSU goes back to Kalamazoo to finish the series with WMU. Seems like yesterday should be a DH to get it out of the way and to save some gas and time.
I mean, if BSU is going to "throw by committee" in MAC games, why not do it all at once and be done with it.

Need to get the train back on the tracks this weekend for sure. That final WMU game is really bad timing at this point with the CMU series coming up.

Unfortunately these days it’s all about the MAC tournament to attempt to get to the dance (see past snubs).
Sounds like the pitching staff needs to harness control?

The bullpen finally gets them out. Hope we can get them again tomorrow. I do like starting with a 9 run lead before we hand it over to the bullpen.

Sweep successfully completed today with the 15-1 rout today. Obviously the big test of the MAC portion of regular season play comes next weekend vs the Chips.

The Western game shows postponed. Be nice to go into CMU series with pitching in a little better sync.
Our MAC stats are impressive: .311 batting vs opponent .216, 193 runs vs 81, 211 k's vs 118, 5 guys hitting at .350 or above...........
Cards hitting for more power: 43 total HR's and 16 triples this year thru 39 games and last year was 35/19 in 56 games
