Gosh darn it! I really hate to hear he’s passed on! We actually had a few exchanges but later actually privately reached out to each other in ways of helpfulness.

He was like our own Trump; I agreed with a lot of what he said, I just wish he said it a little better.
I didn't know him personally, either. Looks like not many did. But still saddened to hear of his passing.

Have you ever noticed we are not nice to new people at all lol. You gotta have really thick skin to start then eventually we slowly accept you… unless your rusty who can fuck off Here is something I've noticed a few times: A newbie will come on the board and post some opinion/observation. Unbeknownst to them, it concerns a topic that has already been under acrimonious debate in this board for months or years. So those of us on the opposite side of the debate immediately come down on them like a ton of bricks. The newbie can't understand where all this hostility and vehemence comes from and concludes (not unreasonably) that this board is just a bunch of belligerent dicks. |

May he RIP In a private massage back in mid-2021, he mentioned that he had run on the BSU track team about 5 years after I had graduated from BSU. Thought it was pretty cool we had 2 former BSU track guys on the message board considering the program ended around 2001 due to Title IX. That's a cadre that isn't growing any larger. |
