How about Purdue coach to Louisville? Lousy timing as it often is. Like Brady leaving a little. Brohm has been up front with Purdue fans the only job he would leave Purdue for would be to come home to Louisville. Glad I held on to my season tickets as the future looks bright. Satterfield never endeared himself to the fans, faculty or media.

The coaching merry-go-round continues. I would guess Purdue would have paid him as much as he wanted to keep him. It is hard to find a coach that makes a difference and the Boilermakers had one and let him slip away. The next coach may not be able to keep the good times rolling in Lafayette.

Kent’s head coach just took OC job at Colorado. Footballscoop: Kent State is reportedly targeting Minnesota running backs coach Kenni Burns as their new head coach. Pete Thamel shared the news this afternoon. He adds that a deal is expected to be finalized "in the near future." Burns joined the Minnesota staff in January of 2017, and in 2019 added the title of assistant head coach, mentoring some of the best running backs the Gophers have had in decades, including All American Mohamed Ibrahim, and Rodney Smith - who is the program's all-time leader in all-purpose yards and ranks second in career rushing yards. Before following PJ Fleck to the Twin Cities, Burns coached the running backs for him at Western Michigan.
