In the past fans did not stay for the women's game. Not much promotion even in those cases. Maybe Lewis could make himself, coaches and a few players, available for meet and greet at the half of the Women's game?

Well the women are playing winning basketball and so are the men. Tough defense when the shots were not falling pulle the women through and so did the men the other night vs. EIU. I don't think we will come out flat as we are really playing against ourselves to get better. Do not think Lewis will let them. If they do we will see the reserves. Brady has the luxury of being able to go 9 deep. The player Buhl from Croatia is going to be really good. Her sister plays for UCONN.

Gotta win and win consistently. String wins together and be better at marketing even to the students who should not need to be marketed but they do

I’ve noticed more students at B ball this year still not great or even good but better. It’s hard to get students there on Sat games I know it should be easier but it’s not. Not having lafollette full of freshman across the street has hurt

Agree you have to sell. Students want events, they're not really fans. Very few rabid fans. Not as much as the past anyway.
Interesting point about LaFollette. At least about selling Freshmen. But no dorm is that far away.

I still think moving the student section to behind the basket hurts but in…. When worthen first opened they were across from the visiting bench. Better view, and I think you can argue more on top of the game action

I've seen the student sections of pretty much all the MAC schools first hand. At our worst we are better than at least a few at their best. Especially EMU. In general I'd say we are about average.
When school is on break doesn't count.

Better view, and I think you can argue more on top of the game action When the students are there and loud its good under the basket. Its right next to visitors section and bench. Ive seen quite a few fans and opposing players/coaches get quite frustrated at the sometimes constant ribbing

Not to mention the attempted distraction in free throw shooting.

I still think moving the student section to behind the basket hurts but in…. I just hate it because I had season tickets in Irving Gym, 1st row next to the visitors bench under the basket, and loved that location.
Same seats in Worthen were not as good, but Calhoun is right about the visitors bench. Especially when it's a small crowd, you are close to it.

When my kids were students just a few years ago they preferred being right on top of the visitors bench because they could really give them hell. They've got some pretty crazy stories. Football on the end is a different story.
