When they compiled the rankings they probably asked themselves the same thing.

This must be FB where the easy answer is that the section is still at the tailgate.

From Second Take's Big Game Boomer with his Final Student Section Power Rankings by conference... View AttachmentHard to believe Eastern Michigan student section ranks 7th in the MAC. It’s embarrassing BSU is not ranked in the top 9 in the MAC. Other than for men’s volleyball, BSU student support and enthusiasm is very apathetic. Coach Lewis is working hard to generate student support for men’s basketball and I believe more support will come as our team is vastly improved this year!

In the past students have filled up most of the nest on so called big games only to witness inept, selfish play and and eventual loss. Same for football. How many times has BSU pissed away momentum building games because of poor coaching, lack of player development and also lack of discipline. Personal fouls that kill drives or not passing the ball to open teammates. Mind numbing tailgating seems to be an alternative and lowering the price of beer last year to make it more tolerable to watch the basketball shit show. However the bright spot this year is the really good inspired with a purpose play of the basketball team. Coaching is making a difference. Coaching is and has made a difference in men and women volleyball, basketball and the other so called minor sports. Bottom line the players are not allowed to disrespect the integrity of the sport. They are taught ( I know this is a cliche) there is no "I" in team.

I think you all are making too much of this. It's just a web page looking for clicks.

There was not a single BSU student sitting in the nest last night at the women’s basketball game with IUPUI. Complete student apathy towards a good women’s basketball team. Attendance appeared to be less than 400. Thank goodness for the band, cheerleaders and a full complement of code red dancers.

People are really missing a good gutty basketball team. The women last night could not hit the side of a barn but still found a way to beat a good IUPUI team. Are the women's games even hyped or promoted on campus?

Are there any doubleheader events where both the men's and women's teams play back to back?

In the past fans did not stay for the women's game.
