Who do you have as the most improved player from last year? Jihad? Jacobs? Pearson? I think my vote would be Jacobs with Jihad a close second.

Jacobs was already good, though he's been damned good this year. I honestly could not see Jihad or Pearson ever contributing based on last year, so I'd go with those two. Jihad could be a real force by season's end. I might be crazy here, but he may have more upside than Sparks - more skilled and athletic - also better defensively right now.

I wouldn't agree from what I saw last year because Sparks was a beast. I'm not sure what I'm seeing this year but I'm not seeing agility or athleticism. Jihad is coming on.

Jihad most improved on offense. Pearson can help in more ways, his minutes show his value.

Jihad most improved on offense. Pearson can help in more ways, his minutes show his value. Didn’t he have like 9 rebounds last night?

Jihad most improved on offense. Pearson can help in more ways, his minutes show his value. I'd vote this way, too. Jihad has really developed his game. Big asset to the Cards. I love it when he and Sparks are on the court together. Makes for a big challenge to the defense.

At this point I'd say Pearson. But I don't know if he's actually the most improved or if I just had really low expectations for him.

Jihad Last year he looked pretty lost in the games that he played. Now he is just beginning to tap into his huge potential. Asserting himself, with a purpose, finding success and building confidence. He could and probably be a monster for us. Wonder if coaching had anything to do with this improvement.

Luke Brown.
His play at Stetson has improved Ball State.

Lewis playing him the right minutes. If this continues he should get more PT. Sparks less...more time together. But Pearson does too much well right now to cut his minutes much.

Coleman has been a big factor too! Didn’t follow him much last year, but his improvement shows up every game.
