IU at 5, no Purdue game, but ND at home at same time, and HS games at night (presumably). And given team and coach success, and building regional interest, 7K(+)? Coach Lewis needs to go to the region as he has with the students.

For families with middle school and highschool age kids Saturdays games at 2 are a nightmare and compete with everything . Id bet if it were a 7 or even 8 start we would have had 1000 more. Hell 9 is even ok but nine wipes out to many of the older folks

9 way too late.
Students need to get their rest...
Or get to parties...
Or get to bed...

No, it wasn’t a bad crowd, and it remained fairly energized while the game was competitive.
Regardless of our crowd expectations, the Worthen crew was not ready. Looong concession lines before the game, half the stands were open, and I had it on good authority the parking/traffic line stretched all the way down Bethel to the Stadium. Im used to BSU being allergic to anything outside the game day norm, but god forbid we prepare for a large crowd, or actually pay some arena staff and not rely on volunteers?! Sheesh.

Same concessions stands and numbers they have used for years now. only two way primary ways to enter lot both from bethel. The Third way in requires knowledge of campus. Last way is riding bus from stadium. That worked fine for our typical 3700. Those 3700 grew accustomed to be able to roll in 20 minutes before game time and never have an issue. Its going to take a while for people to adjust their times. I drove straight in from bethel at 1:20

It’s been more the norm than it should be. Game day management seems to be a problem. Poor traffic flow getting to parking (like the ONE person taking the money being stationed AT THE ONE ENTRANCE), which causes major back ups. , poor set up inside the arena for those buying tickets, concessions ill prepared, etc. Gotta hope when the new AD takes over he looks at things like that. Operations just seem to have much thought out into them.
