3635 attendance. Sure thought a winning team might generate more butts in the seats. Texas Roadhouse must have been giving out two buckets of Valentine peanuts tonight. Had not thought about Valentine impact, but didn't ever think a weeknight game with a matchup with little to recommend it would draw well. |

Great win, Sparks has been a complete monster last two games. Coleman 8 assist to only 2 turnovers really sticks out. 41 total rebounds....you all can bitch and moan all you want about coach L using 'F bombs' he is very effective to get his players to play hard and aggressive till the end!

What's with Coleman constantly leaving his feet on a fake. Happened multiple times last night, Then his guy is wide open. That needs to be addressed.

Lewis is solidly in reach of breaking this one.

I thought this one was out of reach but given we have 6 games left plus the MAC Tournament and could play in a post season tournament (possibly a crappy one where we could string together some wins) this is in reach.
2022-23 now is tied for the sixth most regular season wins in BSU history.
I think Majerus' total win record of 29 is safe.

I see the NIT as a real possibility.
I don't see us winning the MAC Tournament, but crazier things have happened.

There you compete with Big schools who just miss, where the SOS and ability to draw crowd helps them. Gotta be a top 75-80 team. On win total, now 21 wins is a good bet. Winning 26 would require a a lot, probably a post season tournament run. |

You’ve got to finish in the top three of the conference to have a chance at the NIT. Two teams from the MAC can make it to the NIT but that’s it.

The top four in the conference have all had their moments with the rest of the field. Kent and Akron and Toledo have all slowed down a bit. BSU has remained consistent but took the best shot that Eastern had and won. Buffalo and Kent were real learning moments for us but Buffalo just got killed last night. The tourney is such a crap shoot. Hoping that whoever we play has a real off night. We still have Kent, Akron, Eastern and Toledo to deal with. Our growth will be measured on how we end the season.
