Following BSU this weekend sucks. The tourney is PPV TV and their live stats package is through Game Changer which only provides the basics. If you want detail, you must subscribe.
Aaaaahhh!
BSU is up 5-0 in the 5th vs. Merrimack. Merrimack was 17-31 last season. Lost to Indiana St. 14-2 in last year's first game. (if that gives any context)

5-4 win over Rutgers. Sweet close by Ryan Brown Yeah, baby! Great bounceback after last weekend! Rutgers won 44 games last year and came in ranked #29. Brown has 15 K's in 6.2 innings.

Cards win 6-1. Brown struck out 11 in a row and 12 of 13 batters he faced. Surely some kind of BSU record. Finish weekend 3-1 and now 4-4 for season. I think Ryan Brown now has 27 strike outs in 11.0 innings pitched!

I think Ryan Brown now has 27 strike outs in 11.0 innings pitched! Brown saved us from an 0-4 weekend, frankly. He is a different level pitcher. He's not a starter because he typically goes deeper into the pitch count, but man, he's hard to hit.
