Portland is a disgusting homeless tent city. Interstate rest stops leading to/from this Utopia are inhabited by families of squatters living on the grounds and begging for money.

I love visiting Oregon, there’s a ton of outdoor fun in all directions and lots to do. But I haven’t been to Portland in 5 years and have no desire to go back. It’s very sad.

1990's Portland was really really a nice place to live or to visit.
The homelessness mess there is stunning. In the last 5 years at least doubling growing to 7000 people.
The mild winters and ideal summers probably don't help with that.

Couple questions I'd like to see Nike spokesperson Colin Kaepernick asked:
1) If the uniformed police that Nike is asking for in their MLK Portland store turn out to arrest mostly black people, will they discontinue that program in the name of equity?
2) When shoppers of color notice that there are uniformed police present in the store they shop in, but not in stores in the white suburbs, and this hurts their feelings, will Nike discontinue the program then?
