Tyler Schweitzer has had a VERY good start to his move to AA.
In 3 starts with Birmingham, he is 2-0 and has went 19 innings with 21 K’s, 2 BB, 1.89 ERA and a .194 opposition batting avg.

Chayce McDermott didn’t get the win tonight but pitched 7 innings of 3 hit-1 run baseball with 12 k’s against the AAA Durham Bulls.
Nice outing

I just saw where Zach Plesac was dropped back down to Salt Lake after spending about 2 weeks with the Angels. He won his first game lost 2nd & had no decision in 3rd of his three starts. Appears he is still walking way to many batters in this shot. So he's 1-1 in the majors this yr pitching 12 innings with 5 ks & 7 walks. ERA was 8.25. Ugh!

Nice outing After a really bad 0.1 inning start last week, Chayce gets a win tonight against Memphis with 6.2 innings of 0 run, 1 hit baseball and 7 K’s McDermott is the AAA International League leader in strikeouts |

McDermott pitches 4 innings giving up 5 hits including a homer, 2 walks & 3 earned runs. He struck out 3 & left trailing 3 -0. Orioles have since scored three runs to tie it so he will not get a decision. He only gave up a single in the first three innings. Orioles need pitchers was it good enough to get another start?

It was not good enough as McDermott was sent back to Norfolk on the 25th.

Ty Johnson part of Cubs/Rays deal over weekend. Goes from Myrtle Beach to South Bend and now to Bowling Green (A+ Tampa) in last two months.
