#1 Loyola versus #2 Ball State Thursday night in Worthen Arena at 7:00! If the Cardinals can take down the Ramblers, BSU will still have a shot at the Co-Championship of the MIVA and a shot at the #1 seed in the conference tournament which is absolutely huge as the Cardinals have won 95% of their matches in Worthen the past two seasons. This will be an epic match and this BSU team who are the defending MIVA tournament champions deserve a crowd of over 5000!

Tonight’s the night! Biggest match of the season without question! Two of the hottest teams in the country will put on their boxing gloves and duke it out in Worthen Arena at 7:00 when 2nd place BSU meets 1st place Loyola. The Ramblers, ranked 10th in the country are 11-1 in the MIVA and the Cardinals are 9-3 and ranked 11th. 2022 “National Coach of the Year” Donan Cruz is once again working his magic and has the Cardinals playing like an NCAA tournament team! All tickets will be $5 and a season high crowd is expected so get to Worthen early!

Very, VERY disappointing crowd. I don’t think BSU did anything to promote the match and to help BSU students and the Muncie community know the magnitude of the match! There have been excellent student turnouts at most matches this year. This week all the promotion was about the “1 Ball State” financial campaign and that may have really factored in to the attendance.

Good thoughts and you may be absolutely right as it was a pathetic turnout for a really big event.

Saw the crowd, disappointing. Let's hope they come out tomorrow. Need a win. An Ohio State win over Loyola is very possible.

Anyone know where the Code Red Dancers have disappeared to the past 4-5 matches? They really added to the atmosphere of the matches and the crowd really appreciated them! Then out of the Red they went AWOL!

Ball State has never realized that it is in the entertainment business with college sports. Look at what other schools do to promote big games. Code Red, the Pep band and Munciana should have been there. Maybe they didn't know there was even a match let alone a big one. Ball State has an acknowledged national reputation as being a mecca for volleyball. The lack of promotion by the university for volleyball and I might add also womens basketball that had a stellar year is an absolute disgrace.

Strong finish by the Cards. Hope they can continue that level of play for the next 3.
OSU would seem to be the hottest team on the other side of the bracket having won 8 straight. OSU and Loyola certainly capable but they'll have to do it in Worthen.
Feel pretty good about a decent crowd showing up, maybe not for Quincy but for the semis and finals if we make it that far.
