Probably based this report on EIDA data. As expected, P5 schools dominate the list. But look at G5 schools. It's interesting that the highest G5 schools are predominantly AAC schools, a few MWC schools, and one anomaly, James Madison. While they still have James Madison list as a CAA team, they are now a SunBelt Conference team. They are 9th in the G5 in only their 1st D1 FBS year (18 sports; 25,000 seat football stadium; 8,500 seat basketball arena; 1,200 seat baseball park). sports.usatoday.com/ncaa/finances?fbclid=IwAR0C3RtJofHBTlHekYpWfnsvFqTqR0NKORArFkr4JIqpuYnm8sm3y0qIg6QHow does James Madison overachieve with such small facilities? 81% of revenue is subsidized by student fees and other school funding. Coastal Carolina is also subsidizing revenue at an 84.6% rate.

Uses EIDA and IPEDS data. Site shows you a little more detail, and you can dig down and figure out also a little bit how programs spend on operations. How they pay coaches and so on.
On the revenue side, we know how much difference there is, and that student fees are a big component for many programs. Some where the students get a lot more for the fees they pay... But student fees are only part of the direct and indirect support given and in some cases we just can't think about giving that same support.

Interesting in the variability from year to year. It looks like 2021 and 2022 data is not fully documented / available. Thank you for posting.
