According to twitter and BSU Athletics email, we're getting a new look Charlie Cardinal mascot this year.
Predictions as to what it'll look like?

I just hope it’s not goofy cartoon Charlie or scary mass murderer Charlie. A cardinal knockoff of the Philly Eagle mascot would be cool.

I know LMcG was lobbying but kind of good news that the new Charlie wasn't made to look all "woke" & "inclusive" & "diverse".

Last year, Charlie's head looked like it had been plucked. Can't have a mascot that sports a "Monkey Butt" With Old Charlie's head feathers receding, BSU missed a great opportunity to get a sponsor for the new costume. They should've shopped for sponsorship rights from "We Grow Hair Indy", Transitions Indy and Bosley for the new look. |
