This will be my first time in Indiana, and I can't wait to see how football is played in the Mid-West! I'm flying into Indianapolis on Thursday and will drive up to Muncie and stay there through Sunday. Any bars or restaurants I shouldn't miss? How about traditions I should take in before walking to the game on Saturday?
I really think UW has a chance to go all the way this year, and that starts with our game against BSU. Here’s 5 reasons why I like my DAWGS to win.
1. Michael Big Penix Energy Jr. He is the best player on the field, enough said on that. He has 4 years of high school and 5 years of college under his belt and will do whatever he can to win the game.
2. Offensive Line. We average a weight of 332 across the line, and they are ready to dominate the line of scrimmage. Nate Klepto, Bainvalium, Center, Ossai, Rosengarten. These boys have an attitude and are ready to rumble!!!
3. Inge. A new defensive scheme and a new attitude. Everyone is speaking out about the difference between our game plan on defense in the spring game and our game planning since then. You will see a much improved defense on 9/2.
4. Speed, speed, speed. this is the fastest team Washington has had this century, maybe since 1976! James Odunze, Jalen McMinnimins, James Polk, Ahmed, Shelton Sampson. The newbies will be inexperienced but we bring a new dimension that the program has not had in years, speed.
5. Time of possession. I think we can win the time of possession battle in this one. the more we can control the ball and keep our defense off the field, the greater chance we’ll have to win.
I think UW wins this one rather easily, say… 34-17???

Nah, we're working a split squad deal. Double pay day. Surprised we could get UW to come to Muncie.....

No wonder we need 3 QBs
Not on the season ticket...must be a huge visitor guarantee and relying on a big student turnout in an innovative new scheduling twist I have not seen discussed anywhere.
Perhaps tailgating, dollar dogs and kegs set up in each section on the home side?

You'll want to hit the Chug for sure and wear flip flops. It gets a little moist there. One of our favorite student traditions is to not go into the stadium which I think most of the locals and season ticket holders will also observe on Saturday. I'd suggest you stay at the Muncie Inn over on Madison. It's very affordable and historic for a variety of reasons. Parking will be a piece of cake and grab some dinner at Tony's Locker Room near the stadium. Reservations not needed as they have more than ample seating. Finish off your post-game celebration with a nightcap over at the Mark downtown. Enjoy!!

Once again cruel cynical posts directed at someone who is really lost and in need of some serious therapy.
