Watts is healthy and ready to go will probably start.. Need a back up Pg and shooting guard and We have one spot we know of need another current player to bounce This is down to somebody who now maybe won't want to go...Lewis has to have the talk about what is best for them. |

Hopefully Doughty stays and gets some good backup time Hendricks to also see the court a lot, he’s earned it!

I thought this was a possibility; I’m glad he can play his last year at home! With Jihad and Sparks we are a legitimate contender to win the MAC!! Yes, important we have some outside shooting and perimeter defense. Pearson, Bailey can shoot, but adding Sparks hurts a bit on D. We're going to be big, but not very quick. Going from 5 out to post up offense. Deep up front. Bailey needs to improve D, Pearson, Jones are passable, but Jihad would be vulnerable away from the basket, and we would need an athletic guard against quick back courts. One recruit has some potential on D, not as sure about the other but he's an athlete anyway. I don't like it, but maybe we'll play some zone? |

Otherwise for the first time in my memory we're going to be top heavy inside...poor depth at guard. Zagorsak, Brown are nominally guards, can't see them doing what we need, TMJr would have maybe fit. |

Well how about that? I feared we might be looking at a front court built around Hendricks next season. A jihad/sparks duo would be, shall we say, something of an upgrade over that.
Now I’m suddenly wondering what can be done about jihad’s turnover issues. I never worried much about it because this year-what difference did it really make? And I just assumed he’d be gone next year
