Was holding out hope and I know it was not an easy decision for him or his family but after basically losing the starting job this spring but going back to the non committal ending of last season KK is going to the portal. Its the best move for him and I wish nothing but best

Kelly didn’t develop the arm(although he might not have had the chance to)

As long as we're not playing against him I look forward to rooting for him in the future. He's one where I'm kind of glad he's leaving for his own sake. We obviously cannot utilize him. Would not surprise me if he's competing for a Sun Belt championship before he's done.

Still think he could be a great WR. Might get a pro tryout that route. Not likely as QB. Maybe CFL some day as QB if he really explodes at this next stop.

Not surprised. Semonza is QB1. I will interesting to see if they elevate another QB - Harrison, Blazek or Leffler?

Now, part of that is on Kelly for only wanting to be a QB. That's fine. That's what he wants and now he can go somewhere that can properly use him. We never recruited around him. Everything has been geared to a slow, drop back passing game. But man, in the open field he is amazing. |

Athletically he is arguably top 5. He has a rare set abilities had someone got with him on the throwing much earlier it could have been a different story

I just wish he would have done it earlier. Appreciated him trying to make it work at BSU. Seems to be just the opposite of what most kids do these days. However, this was one case where the kid was too loyal. Hope he shines bright wherever he lands.

Kelly doesn’t fit our passing offense now. Great athlete - but would need to switch to WR to play. Good kid, so wish him the best!

Great talent. Sad the Neu/Lynch couldn’t develop him as a passer. Hoping all the best for him at his next school.
