We lost other games late, which meant we played even in games almost the whole game, and to me that means we were worn down, lost a step, lost concentration, just couldn't make one more play.
Lack of talent on the bench more than in the starting lineup. Fatigue at the least contributed to several losses.
It was obvious enough, and Lewis's remarks about depth confirm that was an issue.
That a freshman made a game ending mistake, after playing too many minutes, isn't exactly a surprise. We won't see that this year, although no doubt somebody some time will make a bonehead play that hurts...

Was the replay of this event ever posted? I've failed in my attempts to find it.

I found the Football replay...from a week ago.
Most other sports replays are posted hour by hour, up for 24 hours. No idea about this power hour.

Just to clarify he did not say those were the starters but Like I said you talk about players who have stood out. jones could come on or maybe hill. Im also wondering who dude 2 is after sparks. Hart or Hernandez You had a good summary above.
No starting lineup mentioned, and the Gorosito/Watt comparison was more about both being good passers rather than a position battle. Pretty good inference he would want a passer in the game! The lineup you mention above is plausible but probably everybody except Sparks and Pearson will have to compete for PT.
When he said he had players, I suggest he may have more than dude 1 and 2. Not only several players who might stand out in a given game, but multiple skill sets with different players to allow coaching to really matter, as we can change things up as needed. He noted especially the perimeter length and athleticism.
Having listened to the podcast, it was natural enough he talk about Sparks and Hart.
He was more specific about Sparks being better than when he left, stronger, better passer, better on P&R, and better at picking up where help was coming from to find the open man(probably both in the post and on P&R) when doubled.
About Hart he commented on how he hard he recruited him and thought he had him over UCF. Responded to a question about how both guys had that prior contact and relationship.
He was pretty general didn't really single out anybody as especially standing out, and described how time on the court is about learning each others game, and working on skills. The real system work and team play where players have to do what's best for the team instead of concentrating on their own game would come in the Fall. He did mention the freshmen as expected were behind upper class players in physical development.
Just as our discussion here, he made a point about depth, positive mention of Ben, Doughty, and he referred to the lack thereof last year, and how he can get things across better when he can pull a player and sits him on the bench next to him.
