I was there last week for Neu.. In attendance were Mike, Radio guy, Mitchell, and As Ad mesenger. The mood was awkward and funeral like
Today the patio was full with donors and some casuals. The Briners were there along with a bunch of local donors and a couple tables of casual fans.. Intrest level is high and feeling was optimism
Convo started with portal Nil talk. Lewis admitted he screwed up that first year should have went portal instead of the highschoolers.
Unless elite I doubt we see more than 1 freshman recruited anymore
He said this is unfair but thats b ball today
said he has to be honest and tell each freshman I am looking for the 21 year old version of you
He said 4 years ago he could not give the qb a peanut butter sandwhich now he has to openly discuss and Nil contract with every recruit
First player mentiond was sparks.. He said Sparks was huge a better passer and a little more explosive. Better than when he left
Next player mentioned Hart Gives us a more athletic perimeter and says shooting is elite. Says year at Ky got him physically ready to play. Going back says He recruited Hart ad hard as anyone he had ever recruited.. Says being more athletic on perimeter was needed and had been fixed

Then he brought up depth said he had none now he has what he needs
