Cardfan, you could be right, but I think the QB play + offensive line with improved play calling may be just what the Dr ordered to win at least 6...may even squeeze out 7.

I'm thinking 4 wins. Too many new faces in critical places. Sounds about right. 3 to 5 wins. lots of new faces, a gutted Dline with replacements from....Alma and St. Francis and the like... and the HC is still there. Much as I like him, the buck has to stop with him for years of the program underperforming. Most coaches (and us in our jobs) would have been fired or reassigned by now with his record. |

It will be interesting to see how Semonza develops. I remember a lot of comments when we were recruiting him that said he had the "it" factor. If we can protect him, i think he will do well.

It will be interesting to see how Semonza develops. I remember a lot of comments when we were recruiting him that said he had the "it" factor. If we can protect him, i think he will do well. The QB carousel before and after Plitt.... somehow our all time stud QB has struggled to recruit/develop a dominant QB despite the "coached Drew Brees" pedigree. |

He has a whole lot to prove, IMHO. His arm strength and inability to scramble raised major red flags for me last year. |
