On the bsu sports podcast Lewis says right now we can't defend anybody based on the scrimmages we've had. Said offense is not a problem but the defense part has a long way to go. Team still gelling together. Lots of good individual players but not a cohesive unit yet. Work in progress. Can we defend the full-court bounce pass? If we can, we're at least better than last year. And no offensive issues? That's an improvement over last year, too. Things are apparently looking up. |

I made a futures bet for fun; Ball State 25-1 to win the MAC which odds wise placed in the middle. In the middle is under the radar. From the reports we're not as far along as I'd like to getting to the top. But I agree it's possible. That podcast mentioned Ben and Pearson are looking good and that we've got the talent. Have to worry when Lewis says not the urgency, not yet a good team, though. |
