Probably a large amount of defections now that it’s pretty clear Mike won’t be back. So be it. It’s how goes these days. The next coach will need to be able to take advantage of the portal.

Im not even sure that should count as rumor. If mike goes I think anyone with film is likely gone and any recruit who may have add multiple fbs offers is gone as well.. Who stays will be more shocking then who leaves

I believe the aforementioned reference to "rumors" was in regard to the above '2025 Head Coach' thread which was not rumor related, rather little more than message board blather, or something thereof.

There’s not a whole lot of difference between speculation and rumor in college athletics these days. We should see some reporting shortly about portal news at which point you can take back your blather observation, or ‘something thereof.’ |

Would not be surprised to see guys forgo the last two games to avoid injury prior to going to a new school. It sucks but it’s reality.
I can see certain wrs and dbs bailing. Maybe even the qb. Kids that are loyal to Mike aren’t going to stick around. As we’ve said, the next coach needs to earn his pay in the portal and we’re going to need a robust pay for play program. (Easier said than done at our school)
