🤔Watching Navy play today. Are the service academies immune from transfers? Not technically. But they draw students who are more committed to the school they chose. I'd be concerned if they were transferring out.

Note if you transfer out of a military academy don't you owe them the cost of the time spent in school?

Note if you transfer out of a military academy don't you owe them the cost of the time spent in school? Only if you leave after your junior year has commenced. Freshmen and sophomores can leave at will.

Freshmen and sophomores can leave at will. Agree. Had a buddy play football at Navy. After soph year they ask you for 5 year commitment……two more years of education & 3 years of service.

I just read that 4 football teams did not use the transfer portal this year Army Navy Air Force Clemson It also said if you transfer out, 0 academic credits will transfer If you transfer in, you start with 0 academic credits
