Georgis Tech's AD has moved to take over the Purdue AD role.
One of the things Mitch Daniels liked about Mike Bobinski is that he spent some time working with The Disney Corporation. Daniels gets it. He understands that collegiate athletics are a form of entertainment and if he can find a person to build up the game day experience, it's a plus. Bobinski is also a CPA and been in collegiate athletics for 30 years. He's the guy that built up the Xavier basketball program.
Bobinski is going to scrutinize the football program very closely. Hazell's days sound like they are numbered.
