With Dalton getting injured that should mean Wenning would suit up next week as the number 2.

Also hope Keith gets the call, but if Dalton is out long-term it's hard to imagine that they won't be looking for a veteran that might know their system.
Can't imagine a team with hopes of making some playoff noise would willingly go into the playoffs with two young inexperienced QBs.

Yeah if it's long term it won't be kW Reports from ESPN and Cincinnati Enquirer indicate Dalton has a broken thumb on the throwing hand; may or may not be available for playoffs. Wenning may be a back-up next week at San Francisco (somewhat of a bye week considering Cleveland beat S.F. today-Niners should never have run Harbaugh out of town). Cincinnati wants a championship so they'll get a veteran QB back-up in the event Dalton isn't play-off ready. The ghost of Stanley Wilson still haunts Cincinnati. |

Willie needs 202 yards in the next three games to get 1000 for the season. Thats with missing one game due to the injury and being limited in another. Not bad for a slow undrafted kid from Ball State. Barring a coaching change that should be enough to keep him around long enough to sign the all important 2nd contract

Gotta believe that Willie's done enough to stick no matter what happens with coaching staff. Plenty of WRs in the league that would like his numbers. The only thing he really hasn't done much of is getting in the end zone.

Bengals have been auditioning QB's today, so it appears KW most likely will not be active this weekend.
