I am so happy for Willie. He has worked so hard to get there. I certainly expect him to continue the hard work and stay for a nice career. Catch the ball and run like the wind Willie.

Wow, great for Snead! This made me curious, before Snead, who is the last BSU Cardinal to throw, catch, or run for an offensive TD in a regular season NFL game?
According to my quick and dirty interwebs research it has been approx. 15 years since the last true offensive (non special team/fake) NFL TD by a former BSU Cardinal. I didn't look at anything before the '90's.
Offense: Corey Croom '93 (just 1 TD - for the Patriots playing the Colts - ugh) Bernie Parmalee scored 16 TD's in his career, last one in '00. Started career in '92 but didn't score until '94.
FYI - Defense: Blaine Bishop has 1 pick 6 ('95) Keith McKenzie has 4 TD's - 2 fumble recoveries for TD, 2 interceptions for TD ('98-'99).
FYI - Special teams Brad Maynard has 2 TD passes (01-'02) (I guess this is technically offensive, but not what I was looking for)
Interesting - 24 TD's in the span of '94-'02

Timmy Brown played for the Packers, Eagles, and Colts in the 50s and 60s and scored over 30 touchdowns while running for nearly 4000 yards. He was the epitome of BSU football for a long time.

Eric Patterson was added back to the active roster on Friday. I expect he'll see some PT this weekend, because the Colts are horribly thin in the secondary right now.

Patterson waived again. It must be exhausting, but when a single game check is about 26K I reckon I'd put up with the back-and-forth as long as they want to keep paying me...

Did Patterson or Newsome see the field this past week?
Saw that Willie had a season-high in targets and receptions (7 and 5) for 40+ yards even though Brees was out.

Patterson transaction this week said "Waived-No Recall". Does that mean he cannot be resigned by the Colts ? Is there a limit to the numbr of times a player can go to the practice squad after being on the regular roster

"Waived-No Recall" simply means that the team cannot rescind the action to waive the player, so he's subject to the waiver process during which any other team can claim him to for their active roster. He'll probably be back on the practice squad later today.
I believe that a user can only be part of a practice squad during 3 seasons, but I'm not sure there's a limit to the number of times he can go back-and-forth between the active roster and practice squad. I just think it means that in his 4th year in the league, they wouldn't be able to add him back to the practice squad if he was waived.

Patterson now on Rams practice squad Wow. Too bad he couldn't stay in Indy. There would be a real chance to play there. Not sure of the Rams situation. Hope it's a good fit. At least teams are taking a look at him.
