As is expected of coaches in our conference who create winning products... Softball Head Coach Tyra Perry was announced as the new head coach of the Fighting Illini softball team today.
Let's see who Mark Sandy will bring in to replace her...

We'll probably pick up someone from the Ohio Valley Conference, or similar, possibly a Big Ten assistant. It's the food chain.

You know it's coming when you are successful. Kind of frustrating because you would like to build on that success. Easier to do with the same staff. Hopefully they find a good fit and solid recruiter like the last time.
