Wow. Trump hammered Hillary on emails and Bill.
Discuss.

The next debate will be held on a small boat, located 1900 miles south of the Hawaiian island of Lanai. Why is this important?
Because we'll leave the boat adrift, with the candidates, with no fuel or sail and the country will be better for the next four years.

P.S. we got rid of the Spin Control message board because the political discussions got out of control, and caused a lot of friction between board subscribers. Lets not go there again.

Yeah I am still waiting for 00hmh to cite a single piece of Bush deregulation that exacerbated the 2008 financial crisis. It's have only been sitting tight for six years.

C'mon, we can't keep doing away with boards, what would happen to the Desmond Bane thread?

The big difference is that instead of debating whether regulating derivatives and investment banks might have made any difference, we are now being invited to talk about bad reality TV.

No, the big difference is Bush tried to step in and upend , Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, prior to to their insolvency. Yet the Democrats Dodd and Frank wouldn't let him. Odd how they both stepped down prior to running again isn't it. I am done with politics here.

To his credit, I think Willo is the only person here who has claimed to be done here and has not returned.

I don't know how anyone with a conscience can vote for either of these tools. It's a sad time in America when this is the best we've got to choose from.

I don't know how anyone with a conscience can vote for either of these tools. It's a sad time in America when this is the best we've got to choose from. This isn't the best we've got to choose from. There are thousands of people who would be better for the office - maybe hundreds of thousands. This is simply the best the government will let you choose from. The way the parties have cooperated to monopolize ballot access is just one more way they're dragging us down. Probably what I've enjoyed the most about this cycle is half of the people who have always rejected my "I won't vote for evil even if it's the lesser of two evils" argument are now in a serious quandary. As are the "if you don't vote you can't complain" people who are now unable to vote in good conscience, as you say. It's sad that we had to be staring into the abyss for them to see the error of their ways.
