The AD is in a terrible predicament, she has to fire Whitford at season's end. Money is obviously a big problem but she doesn't have any choice, there is no way you can give him even one more year after this debacle of a season.

I will take NIU on Friday over us & Ohio beating Miami. So it leaves us 11th in MAC.

One guy outrebounded our ENTIRE team I don’t think the stats for BSU are accurate. Not that it matters.

Six years and we are 6-11 against our conference where the competition level should be fairly equal with recruits coming from a fairly equal pool of talent.
What variable stands out in an equation such as this?

Honestly didn’t we all know how this game was going to end and how this season is going to end? I expect we will win Friday on Senior night and lose Monday. We are the epitome of mediocre and milque toast. IMO, This ranks among the most underperforming seasons in recent memory.
We have a group of good kids but we lack what we’ve always lacked under Whitford. No killer instinct, no real toughness that championship teams possess, no moxie or attitude of imposing our will on opponents.
Bring on the baseball Cards. Can’t wait to see a game at First Merchants field.

Oh come on, don't you want to see what Whitford can do next season with our three red-shirts (Coleman, Thomas, and Acree)? They will be game changers along with our Canadian Big Man and freshman PG. What could possibly go wrong?

Where are our wealthy alums when we need them? “Kid” you listening? Bring in a new coach on a six year deal and back load the last three years. You can probably make it work financially. There is no way Whitford can come back next season.

I hope our resident apologists have taken note of the cue they have been given by Jimmy One Win.
It's time to pivot from the "injuries" excuse to the "MAC is so dang strong" excuse.
I guess it's kind of hard to maintain the "injuries" excuse when the team steps on its dick, losing 4 of 5 down the stretch, after the injured players come back. But, believe me, they would have parroted the "injuries" excuse until the end of time if a substitute hadn't been provided.

There is no way Whitford can come back next season. A pipe dream bro. No way we can afford this right now. We will likely have to eat part of Neu’s contract if he craps the bed again in football and we are raising money for a new indoor practice facility. There is no cash to make it happen this year or next. Sandy is sitting in his La Z Boy sipping a sweet tea while we get to endure at least two more years of excuses and mediocrity. It’s depressing as hell but a cold reality.

The loss this evening was indeed due to injuries. If K.J. Walton had just not twisted his ankle in the first half. That messed-up Whitford's well thought out rotations which in turn caused the 12 point deficit at halftime. If not for that 12 point deficit at halftime, we would have won by 5 points. But you are right, Whitford certainly has pivoted to the MAC is such a strong conference rational for his failure.

Buckley and Taylor also flopped from lame excuse to lame excuse at this stage of their respective careers. It's a tradition.
However, It appears Whitford will outlast either of those two. Not because he is any better, but because....incredibly....our administration has become even stupider.
