IU had a team workout at Lucas Oil in preparation for our game. Anybody know if our team will get to practice at Lucas Oil before the game on Aug 31? So, we're the home team for this game. Since when does the visiting team get practice time on the home team's field, less the pre-game walk thru? Since IU.

Our home attendance number will receive a nice boost from this game but I would have liked to see a packed Scheu. Does Bsu pay for the venue, then get the ticket revenue? Or how does this work?

Just noted BSU 17 point dog It's gonna be a lot worse than that. We're gonna get rolled, big time.

I took BSU +17 like Sweep and also bet $135 on BSU straight up to win $800

IUs Secondary is probably one of the Big Tens best. We aren’t really weak anywhere. But Our D-Line is our least talented position(but not bad.) I think Ball States Offensive Line is the Strength of their team and the reason you guys win 7 games this year.

Just remember the ND game last year. I believe these guys will step up. I do not think IU will intimidate them.

It literally cracks me up every time the notion of our team mght be “intimidated” by an opponent is raised.
Those days are long gone if they ever really existed - I am talking decades here!
The disparity is not that great a difference for any G5 team to be literally intimidated IMO.
I can tell you from personal knowledge our guys believe very much and as they should we can beat Indiana, NC State and it is no different than going to play ND last season.
Ask your self this - did our team look or play like a team intimidated by the guys lined up across from them at ND?
Hell no so lets put that kind of talk behind us forever!

Why they might be intimidated?... Road game in Indy...Big Ten...Were beaten easily by the same but improved team last year. Bigger crowd than usual...Freshmen both actual and redshirt in their first college game...Physically bigger team...I could go on

You live in a fantasy world if you don’t think non-power teams are intimidated by the power conference schools when they play them in major sports.
Why do you think the fan base gets so excited when they only lose by single digits to a G5 team? It’s still losing and they knew they didn’t really have a chance.
Seeing players act confident in pre season practice is only seeing players trying to impress the coaching staff that they deserve a spot on the field.
When you play every game in front of 4000 people in the first half and 500 people in the second half of your games, you’re going to be intimidated when you step on the field with 25,000 seats filled.

I mean I'd like to say the opposite, but I just don't see how one could.
