It seems that you only care about speed. You don’t need great speed to be a good running back. Outside of his fumble Huntley looked great yesterday. Give me two years of him over one year of Gilbert.

Again, I like Huntley, but there is a reason we got him. I am not all about speed, but he is indeed slow for a featured back. The fumble was an absolute dagger (and a play where any speed at all easily takes the edge for the TD), and the 20 yard run where he couldn't turn the corner should have been a 70-yard TD run. Those types of things make a difference. Caleb had some nice runs and nice moves, but so far he has not wowed this season (231 yards in three games against just so-so competition is nothing to drool over). I've never said I didn't like Huntley (in fact, I do like him and I'm glad we have him), but you insist on bashing Gilbert, so I am providing facts. The dude was an absolute stud before Neu showed up.

We will have to agree to disagree.

I’m thinking Jawas Edwards deserves being mentioned here. I believe he had only one FBS offer. Seems to me, he turned out ok.

Why we are discussing Gilbert so much mystifies to start with.
And given that there isn't much to really say about it, does the topic really need much relevance or consistency?
Besides, this thread is a model of consistency by our standards anyway.
