This is three things, I believe. A kid who thinks he is better than the MAC now, Dads influence and he realizes that we were not going to be better next year. With Teague graduated, his fellow senior next year was gonna be Brachen. Thomas and Acree were coming on late but neither is gonna replace Tahj and I’d guess Walton will also bail. Huggins and Hendricks are both projects. Ish saw what was and wasn’t coming back and decided he wasn’t gonna waste his last year on a rebuild. 2021 will be a regression year gang. Bank it.

Ish is a big loss as he would have been the leading returning scorer and our best shooter from distance! I wouldn’t be surprised to see him play at UCONN or the Big 10 I'd personally be shocked if he actually gets many minutes at a higher level. His MAC stats weren't great, and he really fell off the second half of the MAC season. His game has a lot of holes. Big loss for us because our roster is thin at guard, though. Time will tell whether he ends up in a better situation.

I asked this before, if things are “locked down” how are these MAC players transferring? They can announce they are transferring and/ or they can apply to enter the portal, but coaches are not *supposed* to be contacting them right now. Left to my own thoughts due to no information or reasons why, I just have to laugh at this transfer. I don't think, given his game, he will find the grass greener elsewhere. Being 3rd leading scorer at a Ball State (in your THIRD year) opens a lot of doors 😁

I’m not as high on El Amin as most here, but it definitely will hurt. He had a few great games, but he also had a ton of games shooting around 4-15 from the field. I just don’t know who will replace him.
You do have to be really high on Ish but he was going to be one of two of our best players next year no matter how you feel. I was with a member of the staff after Ishs eye injury this year. He was clutching his phone in a panic waiting for the call to see how bad it was.. His exact words were. "I have no idea what we will do without Ish if we lose him we are done." That was with Teague who then was playing his best basketball.

Three graduations, two transfers, maybe one more and no commitments we know of. Sounds promising.

We just need one more person to leave and we'll be set for next year.

And if Coleman stays, maybe Ish felt he wasn’t going to see the ball much. Who knows why kids trade in being THE guy at the MAC level for being A guy at a higher level. I do hope he does well wherever he lands. (Guys really should not be allowed to take unofficial visits right now with campuses on lock down and so many states under stay at home orders.) but the Minny campus is so close now if he’s gone back there now..... Anyway, ish still has to finish this semester in good standing to be eligible to transfer.

"Supposed" is the key word their yet we have players commiting everyday.. Does anyone believe they are basing this be decision purely through texts I doubt it

I have a feeling next yr is going to look a bit like 2012-13. I realize it will be different personnel wise but comparable results.

Thought it’d be Coleman. “It’s been great and I loved every minute of it. That said, I’m leaving.” No kidding. It's been the best three years of my life. Nonetheless, I'm outta here beetches!

Corona virus to cancel all of next year Sadly that is not out of the question. NOT. Sorry to see this. I wonder if someone has approached him. He should not have been unhappy with his role.

The kid is not a high major player. He might end up at one but he will long for the playing time he got at BSU. His shooting has improved but he cannot guard the wall. Poor decision as someone is in his ear, most likely dad. This is becoming a dumpster fire. No commitments and a couple of big holes to fill! Wow.
