If you noticed his attitude on the court (swagger and gesturing after hitting a 3), you shouldn't be that surprised.
His brain is writing checks that his skills can't cash.
Or in todays verbage, his brain is transferring Venmo funds for which his skills have insufficient funds.

I suppose Whit's next newsletter will update us all on where we are and what we can expect going forward......advising us to stay safe in these uncertain times. Then we won't be speculating.

Maybe he just wants to play his last college season where his family can be part of it.

If he wants the post above or simply be part of a P5 program his last season, then good for him. If thinks he is too good for the MAC, he probably will be really disappointed.

Whatever he wants, he sure dropped a bomb on his teammates and coaches.

Just an example of another player that couldn't grasp that ''complicated'' motion offense that only Whit can teach (but not very well apparently). I am so tired of this dog and pony show and it looks like some of the players are too. If he keeps his job it will be nine years with two MAC tournament wins. WTF?

Whatever he wants, he sure dropped a bomb on his teammates and coaches. Just remember: It's these unexpected transfers and recruiting lockdown because of the coronavirus that has really set us back. It has nothing to do with our recruiting to this point. Or, it's never fear, we still have KJ back so we'll still be clicking on all fires. He's well rested so he should be able to play 35-36 minutes a game next year.

Whatever he wants, he sure dropped a bomb on his teammates and coaches. ...and fans! This type of crap by college athletes will weaken the support of fans who once thought college basketball was special and above the stuff seen in professional sports where most players don’t give a crap about the communities where they play and are in it only for their own personal gain. Like has been said before on this board, if your good enough to be a professional player they will find you. The MAC, while not a Power Conference, does get its players significant exposure. While I may wish him well, I am no longer a fan of Ish.

I'm not going to call people out but I'm not going trash a good kid who gave 3 years to BSU basketball.
He was by the way not the # 3 scorer this season but the # 2 scorer in all games played. He also averaged more minutes played than any other player on the team and he shot the best at nearly 40% from 3 point range....all facts not opinion.
And, contrary to some I would not be at all surprised to see the kid get significant minutes at a Power 5 school....best to Ish.

I don’t believe anyone is trashing the kid. His sudden decision that leaves his coach in a tough spot? Sure we can bitch about that. But no one is trashing the kid himself. We all know he’s a good kid. Remains to be seen how he does wherever he goes. I hope he does well.

Living the dream. Deep inside a protective bubble. Isolated from reality.
