Games this week are split between Coastal Carolina Conway campus and the Myrtle Beach minor league venue.
Chanticleers started the 2017 season as defending NCAA champions and had their championship celebration during this past weekend series. They ended the weekend 1-2. I'm sure this was a letdown. They play again today and tomorrow before Cards come to town on Friday.
Friday game against CC is at the campus sight at 4 pm with a Saturday double header (play TWO) against Georgie Mason at 1:00 and 4:30

Coastal Carolina enters this weekend play at 2-3 as they defend their national championship.
George Mason is 2-1
West Virginia 1-2 after playing 3 against UNC Charlotte.
Theisen (.500) and Maloney (.417) lead Cardinal hitting after first series.

Returning from a really good game. Cards lose 1-0 against Coastal's best starter and closer. Cards out hit the chickens 7-3.
Butler was in total control the entire game except for a walk.... that led to a stolen base, wild pitch and sacrifice bunt, run. Need to check the stats, it seemed like he had a lot of SO's.
we ended the game with bases loaded and one out in the 9th.....strike out, ground out.
"Play Two" tomorrow against Boy George Mason.

Cards take TWO from George Mason. BSU pitching was outstanding today.
Lots of hits and runs in first game with a final of 14-6
Limited GM Patriots to 2 hits in second game for a 7-0 victory. Marquardt pitched seven innings and was in total control. HR by Maloney (no doubter).
4-2 now with West Virginia tomorrow. Mountaineers beat George Mason yesterday and beat Coastal 22-9 today with 29 hits.
