There's so much to clean up in the program it's laughable to be rated like that, but it's one guy's opinion.
Execution/sloppiness Ball security by the QB Issues everywhere on D Poor/strange coaching decisions Very erratic passing game A drop off in special teams Still a severe lack of depth at several spots On top of all that we'll probably have to rely on several freshmen this fall.
Only real strength coming in is the running game.

That ranking makes zero sense. I'll bet the newspaper's online readership takes a big hit each week from squirrels just like us that seek out off-season talking points. In that sense, it makes perfect sense.

PJ Fleck and Minnesota in at #44 (Row little gophers. Row)
WKU comes in at #43.
Mr. Murschel also has South Florida in at #30, and Oregon Ducks in at #31. What kind of Ouija Board is in use here?

Could be worse. Could be the Fresno State Bulldogs.

Expectations at Minnesota too high because of Fleck...Too high at South Florida because of the fired Texas coach they hired and a few returning players they have on offense (some are saying they will win 11 games). I have no idea why the Ducks would be that high.
