The NCAA didn't even know about any of this till yesterday so it's not considering any penalties yet. But people are calling for the death penalty for Louisville if the FBI is right. The NCAA didn't have enough from the hooker thing but the FBI can put the nail in the coffin now. Of course, Pitino is a worm who always seems to manage to wriggle off the hook so I can see him surviving this too.

Apparently Jurich's daughter took a job with Adidas several weeks prior to Louisville signing a ten year $160 million sponsorship deal. This is so ridiculous it's almost hard to believe.

Now the word is they are not fired they are in "administrative leave". Most likely just a step in the process.

Who would have ever thought Bobby Petrino would be the most stable person in the U of L ath dept Whoa! As Dakich is fond of saying, get fired for ANYTHING but losing and you'll get another job. Cheat your ass off and you'll always get another job, if you win. Pitino will have another job soon, unless the NCAA gets involved and gives a show cause for Rick somehow NEVER knowing what's going on in his program. (knowing full well coaches are control freaks and know everything that's going on)

Hey guys this is the tip of the iceberg. It will become a potential NCAA killer along the lines of the basketball point fixing scandals of the late 40s /early 50s. I have thought for years most big recruits or their families got money from someone most likely agents or athletic apparel companies now they all should get investigated if they want to truly end it.

Tom Davis‏ @tom101010 48m48 minutes ago More Interesting. Arizona mbb asst Emanual Richardson charged and he worked alongside Ball State's James Whitford for 7 years at 2 schools.

I could be wrong but I think its going to end up focusing more on the AAU side I think you are exactly right. Let's be honest after two years of wire taps and bugging hotel rooms the FBI, with it's almost unlimited resources, found 4 dirty programs out of 347. Now they may find additional criminal activity, but it doesn't point to a system that's out of control.

A slice of typical, standard big time recruiting procedure was exposed. I hope this doesn't stop with Pitino, a couple Adidas people and a handful of assistants.

Supposedly the FBI has now subpoenaed records from Nike's EYBL program.
