One thing that really bugs me on defense with this team is this constant rotating of Moses or Teague out near or beyond the 3-point line in an attempt to trap or double-team the ball carrier. Once out there, they fail to get back under the basket in time to either guard the opposing Bigs or get the rebound. How can your PF or C rebound the ball when they are running around the free throw line when the ball hits the rim? Yeah I don't know why we don't run that defensive hedge better. Seems odd considering we have been told these guys were recruited because they are athletic enough to guard multiple positions.

I wrote earlier that we needed aggressive defense, better shot selection, and concentration to win these conference games. We got none of that and we sh*t ourselves. No intensity...no win. I hope this is not a pattern that we will follow the remainder of the season. Taylor never found the formula for intensity and Whit seems to be following him. I am really getting sooooooo tired of the same old sh*t. Welcome to the middle of the pack in the MAC.

Kip and Tyler may have had similar minutes and stats but if you don’t believe Tyler is better and provides more on defense then I don’t know what to tell u Halftime.

The problem is they are both inconsistent as hell, which is why Walker moved into the starting role. Tyler put up one three pointer today and Teague jacked up six attempts. There is no discipline on this team, and no consequences for stupid shot selection.

Tyler is our most athletic and skilled player on the roster. The problem is he can never put it together for stretches of games. He is a kid that drives coaches to early graves because he is talented. The problem is he is not an alpha dog male with a consistent motor. It is his personality and you can’t change that. It is a shame because the kid has big time talent.

I’ll bet Rob’s being better entertained at Jumanji..... Hahahahh I got to here catching up.. read this and spit coffee every where.. Watched the replay God we were awful.. I ask this every game and every game I am reassured that we will be ok.. When can we talk about that maybe we are not a good shooting team. Im not ready to fork them but this team is not all that the good. They could be good if Trey grows a set. We figure out how to use Teague. Persons starts playing well again. Etc ETc.. Part of the problem is we have no star or someone we can count on every game. Every so often it works and we have several play well at once and it works. More often than not we are trying to scrape together some kind of offense

It is a shame because the kid has big time talent. And some of us had concerns about his motor coming in. Knew he was extremely talented but didn’t impose his will often. Wasn’t aggressive in the offense. When he did he was spectacular. He’s only done it a few times at bsu.

If you want to be successful at ANY level YOU CAN NOT MAIL IT IN. Ya gotta play hard EVERY game. These numbskulls are finding that out. SAME OLD SH*T. When will they learn? I have no respect for any athlete who doesn't play hard every game. I would not want a player like that on my team.

These kids are the best.
