Ironically when Ball State beat Purdue at the Fieldhouse in December of '99 I was a dejected Purdue fan since I didn't know at that time that I would attend Ball State.

That was the greatest Ball State game ever attended. When I walked into University Arena the crowd was wild-15 minutes before the game and remained fever pitch throughout. We were on the verge of a break through. We sat four rows behind Purdue's bench and could hear Keady's words to the team. Wow, what a game! Great memories, but that was then, in our glory days. The younger members of our group dont realize we were a to 50-75 team annually. We could have jumped leagues but wouldnt frop football. Our AD said "we have to remember who we are, we are in the Mid American Conferece. Even our AD had limited vision, unlike Barry Collier. A series of bad decisions and bad hires followed to the point of where we are now. Give me the glory years od Ball State basketball. Go Cards.

He’s talking about the game in Indy, but yeah that game in Muncie was unbelievable.
