Crazy night... Every favorite fell in games finished (save BSU). And CMU is in OT with WMU. Typical MAC...

No doubt about it we are playing well. Nit picking here but man we miss a ton of bunnies. No coincidence we are playing better with the 2 big guys on the floor together. I disagree with kid as Trey is playing better but is still not a banger and a finisher against the better MAC post. No doubt about it, when Trey is playing well, we will be tough to beat. He still is going to have to prove to me he can match up and play well against Buffalo. He has to be the best big guy on the floor when we play them because Buffalo is damn near better than we are at every position.
The key to our success is when teams have to double on the post. Buffalo has not had to do that as they physically push Trey out of the lane. Not worried about Buffalo at this moment because if we keep winning, we won’t see them until the finals and I am good with that. It would be nice to see Buffalo get knocked off early though. We are without a doubt the second best team in the MAC which is an improvement I won’t complain about. Big one Friday night!!

If I see this Earl of Sandwich CapitalOne ad one more time, I am cancelling my card. Done deal. That didn't take long. At least there were no "Prrriiiiiiime Time!" commercials tonight. First world problem, especially considering getting every game on TV is a fantastic luxury for those of us that are too far away to attend live, but I really wish ESPN would mix the commercials up better. There is always one commercial that plays at least once, and sometimes twice, every single commercial break...

Just got home, Good win but there were some times I felt at turd coming. Hopefully that feeling is gone cause Western Is always tough.. Anyone else feel like tonight"s game was just hard to watch? It just felt really long and choppy. Pretty weak crowd this evening I hope it improves Friday. For those attending Fridays game is a white out so find your cardinal whites and dig them out.. Its also Dollar Weenie night and Muncie Night. So be prepared for some critters

Thought Trey made some great assists tonight against NIU. Mallers really struggled shooting the rock tonight. Hope that changes Friday night.Refs really made a mess of continuity tonight. Crowd was a disappointment for such a strong Feb by these Cards.

I generally agree with you Reevo re Moses but just saying he has been a load for teams lately and he and Teague appear to be playing their best late!
I also agree that we are the 2nd best team at the moment but we may be playing better than Buffalo late.

Moses is definitely more physical the past 6 -8 games. As Reevo pointed out, would love to see him dominate against the better big men like Thompson, Perkins and Wiggins but in 15 league games he’s now averaging 15 points and 9 boards. Pretty damn solid and he is much more assertive. Creating contact and stronger with ball too. Maddening though how many bunnies he and Teague missed. At least 6-7 between the two. Moses would have put up thirty tonight if had made his layups and tip-ins.
The freshmen as predicted by the sane posters returned to their frosh ways. Gunn fouled out in 11 minutes and Ish was a smooth 0-6 with no points or assists. Took some really stupid quick shots tonight. OTOH, Thompson was solid again. He deserves his minutes and makes the most of them. 7 points, 2-2 from the field including a three, two assists and zero turnovers. Good job legacy.
Our first five has been lights out during the Streak. Mallers was not great tonight but overall TP, Sellers, Moses, Teague and Mallers is a pretty respectable and balanced starting group. Sloppy finish was disappointing but we kicked their ass pretty good today.

Moses had 9 vs Wmu first time. We’ll need more from him this next time out. He’s gotta maintain the aggressiveness he’s shown recently.

Moses put more moves on NIU than Hugh Hefner at a beauty pageant.
Their 42 couldn't defend him at all.

Moses 8-11 fg and 7-9 ft with 3 blocks! I’d say a pretty solid game. A few bunnies, but I’ll take 8-11 fg any day from any player. Good work Trey!
