Historically, has the attendance for the Muncieout game been noticeably larger than a regular MAC home game? I ask because I will be attending th game and wondered if there would be any issue finding parking? I have never had a problem at othe r home games but there was a note on the BSU sports page about a shuttle that will be used for people parking at the footballl lot. Is that just wishful thinking or do I need to get there an hour before game time? Thanks for any help!

MuncieOut is a new promotion. I don't think it has been done before. Has it?

BSU has done #MuncieOut the last three years, beginning with the NIU game in 2016. It was being televised by CBSSN, and someone (wisely) decided that a TV game in front of (potentially) a national audience would look lame if we drew the 1,500 live bodies we regularly drew during those dark days. Fortunately, the community has responded. A winning team has helped.

It was a Saturday afternoon game last year(I think) and the crowd was larger than normal. The whole 9 o clock thing makes it hard to figure out but I would get there at least a little early if you do not already have tickets. If there is a larger than normal crowd and they are all buying tickets it will be a nightmare. They have been running that shuttle all season but finding a parking spot has never been an issue. The issue is getting into the lot if you wait to late.

They really have put more of an effort into promoting this game though. Ive heard radio spots, seen a commercial on espn and lots of spots on various social media.
and lets not forget the power of dollar hotdogs

I remember the NIU game and the atmosphere was pretty cool. Grandpa Frozenbaugh does take slight issue with the 9:00pm start time.

They better not run out of dogs this time. Last year while doing my best to support BSU I ordered 3 dollar weenies. The first was like heaven all warm perfectly boiled with a nice soft bun. For the first time in years I was content. I then unwrapped the shiny silver wrapping of god on the second dog. I proceeded to take a barbaric bite but some thing was wrong my dog was still partly frozen and the bun was a stale as a crowd at a football game.. Ruined my whole week.

Isn't being a basketball fan fun! I do like going to games the last few years where we were going to win games and walk out with a bit of buzz, even if the hot dogs don't settle in the stomach quite as well as we'd like.

My group of college friends had not been back to a game since the early 2000's. This year I convinced a couple to bring thier kids and come up. I got everyone some good seats we watched and won a good game. My friends came back for the Toledo game and brought a few more friends. I got a call last night saying a group of 25 would be coming for the final game this evening. So people are noticing and there is a little Buzz.. Now we just can not shit the bed

We are dangerously close to having reason to be optimistic about post season. See my post in the football thread about the mental health hazards of BSU regular season play and subsequent post season.
