Sorry but that is just 💩. Mallory was a walk on practice guy and Kiapway is the third ALL TIME three point made in BSU HISTORY. I agree he has struggled this year but that is just a pathetic way to treat a senior who has given four years to the program. By the way, 85 starts over his career too. Instead we play an inexperienced and overmatched freshman and a walk on the entire game. I love both those guys but Kip could’ve helped us and flat out deserved to start his last home game and end his career with some dignity. You know me RF and my history with this program and I’m telling you it’s flat out bush league and classless. have you even thought about the fact that Francis has checked out and is ready to move on? Do you have some inside knowledge you want to share? I’ve talked with him the past two games and told him to play his ass off and how much I’ve enjoyed his four years. Told him to keep his head up. I truly thought all week he would start, play til the first media timeout and then probably come out. That’s how EVERY coach the past 35 years has played it on senior day except our current coach.

And the current coach won’t even talk about it.

Well, clearly I called this game wrong....just as Toledo does not match up well with us I'm not certain BSU matches up well with Buffalo or WMU. Need to win out on the road which would assure a 3 seed and no possibility of facing either Buffalo or WMU until the Final if everyone plays up to their seeding.
I agree Kip should have played 4-5 minutes minimum as a Senior

Saved a dollar weenie for the post game celebration. It kind of resembles the outcome of the game. Went to Indy Fuel hockey game last night. It was 317 night -- $3 PBRs/ $1 hot dogs / $7 T-shirts. Their $1 dogs were half the size of those. I shoulda went to Muncie, but $3 beers would've been missed. $3 is ROBBERY for PBR. Even hipster kingdom Savages serves it for $1 or $1.50 in Muncie. Of course, the Cincinnati Reds sell tallboys of that and High Life for ten freaking dollars.

He's been know to have those kinds of explosions after long slumps. Not 14 but, well, you know.

I'm not sure if Whitford can win regarding Kiapway.
I mean, he's too easy on Tyler according to many of us. Gives him too many chances before he finally boots him.
Half on this board seem to think he'll be too easy on Walker in the end and welcome him back next year if he's allowed.
But he's too hard on Kiapway because, gee, it was senior night and we could have used some fresh legs and all.
I don't mean to necessarily equate Tyler's "violation of team rules" or Walker's alleged domestic violence to who knows what Kiapway's issue might be, but shoot folks, we bitch if he's hard on someone and we bitch if he ain't hard enough. (I know, that's how message boards work.)
I'm sure some on here would still love to see Tyler out there for us now. Hell, what's a little weed (if that's what it was) or missing a study table or class when we need someone with some quicks who can play D?
Perhaps Kip is just so bouncy and happy out there in warm-ups because he ain't doing crap in practice. Maybe Thompson and El-Amin kick his ass every day. I don't know, but certainly seems like a no-win for Whitford.

Perhaps the above post just sums up how weak a coach Whit is. I don't remember Kip being suspended or being in the paper for beating a woman. I do remember Kip being signed by Whit and being the #3 3 point shooter in BSU history. Starting 85 games for BSU deserves at least a couple of possessions on Senior night regardless if a walk-on and a freshman are allegedly beating him in practice. If he abused his status on this team then why string out the guy in bench purgatory? Instead, why not use his legs and experience during this crucial part of the season? As bad as our guards looked in that last 5 minutes Saturday, what did we have to lose? Found it ironic that ESPN showed Kip on the floor in Cleveland beating WMU.

To all you ref whiners out there, we all know the MAC officials suck, and can not use them as an excuse this time of year and put the game in their hands. The bottom line is 6 points from the bench is not going to get it done. I also, don't understand a senior not coming in on senior night that has the experience of Kiapway. Do you think he would have had his pocket picked like El Amin? I don't.
Whit seems like a boy that would pout about something someone did or said and have a Napolean complex power trip. Is that what is happening here? Makes no sense.
I still don't agree with Whits use of foul trouble. Teague staying in with 4 made no sense that early, and Moses out with no foul trouble also was ridiculous.
This game may slap them into reality and force more disciplined passing and rebounding. Two opponents that we should beat may get them on the right path, and instill confidence just in time for a possible run in the tourney.Or they could easily get beat by Miami again. Its up to them to show the discipline and get rid of the errors. They have to if they are going to be a factor at all in the tourney.

I delayed my reaction as long as I could. Plop goes the egg. Laid ANOTHER just when many thought we would not. Another loss to a mediocre team in a mediocre league. Folks, we are goin' nowhere with this team, coach and AD. I see those as facts at this point. Bad play and bad coaching end up with bad losses. I can't wait to play in the alphabet soup of a tournament for losers. Now that is something to look forward to!!!! See you at football spring practice. Go Volleyball and Baseball.

The Kiapway situation kind of reminds me of Buckley's treatment of Matt McCollum his senior year. He didn't ice him out entirely like this, but I am thinking he really squeezed his PT after Matt was a starter since his freshman year. It was odd for those of us on the outside & things seemed to unravel for Buck from there.
We just never know what is going on because those situations do not make any sense to the rest of us. I just hate seeing players that have given a lot to the school & been pretty successful to that point then likely walk away with a bitter taste at the very end of their Cardinal experience.

Well the AD is gone & I will be surprised to see us spending any money to play in a tourney. So it's up to this team to come together & get into a tournament in which we want to play (NCAA or NIT). I have never been overly impressed with Whit accept when compared to the 3 preceding coaches. He will impress me if Kiapway gets to play in the next 3 games when he rests his starters.

Not playing Kiapway, when you are so short handed, certainly deserves some sort of explanation.
If Whit is trying to make a point at the expense of the game, conference, season, then I’d like to know what that point is.
Kiapway may not be shooting well, but he can be used to move the ball and play defense while others get a chance to rest.
Whit has obviously done this before with Davis, so it is very much within his coaching character to behave this way. I’m pretty sure I disagree with it.

That's what panty wearing faggots do, even at home on senior night to the worst road team in America. Their assholes collapse when big gaping dicks push into their assholes too. you know...if i didnt know any better, i would say that you are probably a panty wearing faggot.
