Persons 2nd team. Moses 3rd team. That's all. No freshmen, no all defense.

I would say pretty good recognition as 3rd best Center in the MAC for a Junior many claim is soft!!
Also, pretty solid Conference stats for Teague not to be considered 3rd team?

Absolutely ridiculous the way All Conference Teams are awarded now. 10 Guards and 4 Forwards between the first 3 teams..:Trey was the only Center awarded. Whatever happened to the good ol PG, SG, SF, PF, C days?

Ok, I stand corrected, evidently picked technically as the best center in the MAC

Miami is gonna be really good down the line. And they already kicked our asses this year. Persons was not good enough for first but Teague certainly was good enough for honorable mention. When Teague was good we won. When he wasn’t we lost.

So a first time coach can take over a bad program that lost its best player and other players to transfer and can put a competitive team with good new talent on the floor right away? That’s not possible.

That’s not possible. I was not going to say that cause Im pretty tired and did not want to keep defending it today but yea that pretty much sums it up

Ok, I stand corrected, evidently picked technically as the best center in the MAC I wasn’t insinuating anything towards your post kid...I’m just old school when it comes to picking all anything teams. I just think they should be by position because some good players are slighted when you overload one spot.

Sorry Kid but he is soft and way too inconsistent. Not a personal attack but the truth about his persona. He disappears way too often when close games are on the line. Good recognition for him and the team but not a true indicator of how he has played against the best. He has improved but he is not the force we need inside. He would be a great complimentary piece with the right hard nosed power forward.

Ok, I stand corrected, evidently picked technically as the best center in the MAC That's splitting hairs. Thompson is every bit as much a Center as Trey. Doesn't really matter either way. Interesting note. The last 1st team MAC player for BSU was Jarrod Jones in 2011. Before that it was Chris Williams in 2003. From 1981-2003, we had 22 1st-team selections. 13 different players. Since Whitford took over, in five years we have Persons twice as a second team, Franko once as 2nd team. Franko & Trey as third team once each. Not exactly a shining beacon of recruitment or player development.

Hey reevo why don’t you have a child and produce the “Monster Center” you crave? To me it takes a lot of STREGTH to play the season like he had after finding his best friend lifeless. Trey had played with a heavy heart all year.
