First spring depth chart notable changes
Kalil Newton goes in as starter at WR over antwan davis
Danny pinter moves from back up TE to starting RG
James jennette starter at DE replace albright who moves to LB
Poni tuata R/FR moves into back up NT
Ray Wilborn juco Becomes instant starter at SLB Michael Robinson becomes back up.. R/FR brock burns cracks 3 deep
JImmy Daw R/fr makes back up at MLB behind white
Olb starter becomes Allbright back up R/fr Jordan Williams becomes back up
Free Safety R/fr Myles hanna gets shot at back up behind Brett anderson
CB Walton and Miller remain starters Holmes and anderson remain back ups
We will see what changes after Spring but already alot of new names emerging on defense. Offense remains pretty much the same
A spot to watch for a possible big change would be the other WR spot.. Its Riley Millers right now, I could see that changing if Gibbs/Gillis/Newton has a big spring
Lacanaria now also cemented into back up role behind Hall

There was also some discussion last year about the new rule where if you played in less than 4 games you could still be redshirted. Unless going forward the decide to make it retroactive it appears like Hurt and Littles will be counted as sophomores

Pinter moving from backup TE to starting RG is, um...concerning. But we'll see, I guess...

I asked the few people I could though and all have said its a natural move and he is going to be fine. We will also have Lopez coming in who will likely be an instant starter so that will lead to some shuffling.. I also think true Freshman Luke Martin will get some early PT

Only 5 Seniors on the entire depth chart

Pinter is a better blocker than he was a TE. We have more talented/athletic kids at the TE spot now.

Only 5 Seniors on the entire depth chart It’s definitely a yute movement.

Pinter at 6-4 255 is really light... He needs to be at 285-295 by the time the season starts

Only 5 Seniors on the entire depth chart It’s definitely a yute movement. It has to be it sucks we had to burn Littles, Robinsons, Hurts, Newtons etc redshirts last year for limited PT. Cosby and Anderson were not ready at the safety spots but hopefully that just makes them better

I’ve decided that last year did not happen. Easier that way.
