Cards win over EMU 6-2. John Baker wins & pitched well. We really cut back on the bbs he had 3 . Lets go tomorrow.

We're 1-3 vs. Miami this season. There record is not much better than ours, and they have struggled on the the mound with control.
We're throwing Jameson against them tomorrow. I believe we owe them. I hoped BSU comes out tomorrow with a little attitude.

Kent is playing pretty well right now, but so is BSU. Gotta have that playoff attitude for the next 3-4 days. |

Pretty sure we play Miami. Tournament reseeds after first round, but as #3 we play #2 Miami regardless of who wins/won the #4-#5 game.

We play Miami & as Cardfan says we need to get them. Jameson has been our best pitcher & if he pitches as well as Baker did today we will be hard to beat. Go Cards!

Central Michigan beat Toledo so CMU plays Kent. Toledo and EMU go to the losers bracket. BSU plays at 6.

Miami's starting pitcher was very good (Miami has had some sloppy pitching, like us, this year), and his defense backed him up. Miami's offense was sloppy and we made them look good. BSU played very sloppy in all aspects of the game. We gave Miami opportunities to score that they didn't earn. Miami is an equal opponent, but we give them breaks. Just piss poor baseball. On a good note, T.J. Harmon pitched well for innings 6, 7 and 8. He shut down the nonsense. The Eastern game was a solid performance. In tourney play, you can't let what happened today, happen at all. |

Lost 7 to 2. I told you guys before, Maloney coaches these guys to swing at first pitch fastballs, and try to pull the ball. The CMU pitcher threw 97 pitches in this game.He threw 12 pitches in the final 2 innings. Absolutely no patience on this team, and that's fully on the coach.
